Cook Shoppe

Dennis and Paulette Cook are the owners of the Cook Shoppe, a kitchen appliance shop located in Trail, British Columbia. They are authorized dealers of the Bosch Universal Plus Mixer, L’Equipe Grain Mill, Family Grain Mills, Bosch Compact Mixer, and more, and have a full range of accessories, attachments, and parts.  They offer a selection of the most reliable and well built kitchen appliances available in Canada.

Dennis and Paulette used and enjoyed Bosch products for years and really appreciated their quality.  Since they found it difficult to find a dealer to supply them with parts, they thought about adopting this role themselves, so tried out a small market segment.  The response was overwhelming!  They hadn’t realized how many users of Bosch products there were and how much of a need for attachments and parts there was.

Many people they spoke to had used their Bosch products for twenty and thirty years, and had nothing but praise for that brand’s reliability and power.

Listening to these stories inspired them to fill this void in the Kootenays, and eventually beyond. They now have an outlet in Grande Prairie, Alberta, to serve the needs of those in the Peace country.  They have added many kitchen tools and baking aids to their selection due to the demand for those hard to get items.

Dennis and Paulette are happy to personally answer any questions you have about their wide range of Bosch mixers, bread makers, rice cookers and accessories, since they have used some of these machines personally for over twenty years!

Over time they noticed more people were becoming health conscious, and were requesting the grinding of whole grains. Today they have eleven varieties of certified organic grains, the largest selection in the area.  Their grains are grown in Central B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan and include the ancients that have become very popular.
