Locavore Smoothie

I’ve adapted this recipe from the Diary of a Locavore site.  Although it’s still a little early for both strawberries and basil, but this

recipe gives you something to look forward to. Raspberries can be substituted for strawberries, and hazelnut milk, which can be made from locally grown hazelnuts, can be substituted for Greek yogurt.

In a blender, combine until smooth: 1 cup partially thawed or fresh strawberries, 2 large basil leaves, 1 tablespoon lime juice, 1 heaping tablespoon Greek yogurt.
